Thereby I have learned a lot about all these little and big residents of the Everglades. Additionally the respectful way Captain Josh treats the environment and the animals is exemplary and admirable. Our absolut Highlight was the interaction/play time with the dolphins and the Waves generated by the boat engine.   A special experience due to our dedicate tour guide - This tour of the Everglades was not what I had expected but it was nonetheless great. It was just the four of us, two parents + two teenage daughters. Our... read more guide loves what he is doing and it shows. He knows everything about the native flora and fauna and history of the Everglades and its native inhabitants. He spoke to us about herons, local tribes long gone, how sea shells are formed, the difference between keys amd islands, the importamcr of mangroves, the customs and traditions of the local tribes, the history of the place... pretty much everything you can think of. We saw herons, dolphins who played with the boat for a long time, pelicans, turtle nests, and the highlight of all, manatees which apparently are not that easy to spot. My youngest daughter said she only wished school lessons were that interesting.
The only thing we did not see were allogators and crocodiles since we were too far out from the channels but I am not sorry. Overall it was a unique exoerience.
Our guide also had a lot of tips for the rest of our journey in the Keys, where to eat, where to see the alligators, where to go for tarpon feeding experience.
The manatees were something special and I am so glad we had the chance to see them amd learn about them.
Fully recommended.

  This trip was amazing and delightful in every aspect. Captain Josh is an excellent host, a skilled captain and knows the Everglades National Park as well as his own... read more backyard. We toured and saw amazing wildlife including ospreys, egrets, blue herons, and dolphins. Seeing the mangroves and the white sandy beaches was amazing. From Captain Josh we learned the history of the Everglades, SW Florida and the local Indian tribes. He was a wealth of information, and we enjoyed every moment of the trip.
